You're It!
Growing up, I could talk to anyone, about anything. And I suppose that's still true--in fact, one of the things I love most about meeting new people is finding the uncommon things you have in common: a lesser-known author you both like, an odd travel destination you've both been to or a band for which you both share a common musical obsession.
So naturally, I'm, loving the concept of blog tag! Bloggers tagging each other with the top five things readers don't know about them. I was tagged by Mike Shaffner who was tagged by Kent Blumberg who was tagged by Carolyn Manning who was tagged by Tim Peter who was.... ok, I'll stop there. But it's social networking at its finest. You can quickly learn about professionals and thought leaders that might have taken you weeks to stumble across.
Without further ado, my top five:
1) I'm addicted to football. If the Philadelphia Eagles beat the Saints this weekend, I might paint my new car in green and gray.
2) I don't have very good luck with cars. I've run over both a Christmas tree and parking barriers, broken car antennas (twice), had numerous flat tires, hit a tree on the B/W parkway, broken a side mirror backing out of the garage and lost my car in a mall parking lot.
3) I was Frenchy in my high school's production of Grease. But my Braodway aspirations ended when my Dad got mad at me for smoking a cigarette on stage.
4) I too, have jumped out of a plane...my friend Nicole and I decided it would be a great way to celebrate turning 30. But I almost threw up so I think that's a one-time thing.
5) I currently live in Nashville TN, while getting my MBA. That's right, mix HR/recruiting with B-School and the result? Hopefully (by May), an HR/recruiting professional who can read a balance sheet.
Now it's my turn. I'm tagging some of my favorite and most interesting bloggers (though there are a heck of alot more than five)...TAG...
1) Jason Novak of Better Living Through Introspection who makes me think and laugh. At the same time.
2) Sharran Sririvatsaa of Owen Bloggers with insights you'll love about life in business school.
3) Steven Rothberg of CollegeRecruiter.com with then best collection of blogs in one place.
4) Jason Alba at Jibber Jobber with the coolest job search tool ever.
5) Heather Hamilton at Microsoft whose One Louder blog is absolutely one of my favorites.
...You're IT!
=============
I should have guessed Heather's already been tagged. given her popularity in the blogging schoolyard. Jeff, have you been tagged?
