Time for a Change? Here's Where to Start
With all of the self help sites out there, it's like the makeup aisle at CVS: bright and annoying with everything looking exactly alike. So I was pleasantly surprised when I got notice of the Beta site of First30days.com.
First 30 Days is a more of a change site than anything It's for anyone ready to make any sort of change and how to handle the first 30 days.
Of course, I was most interested in the "finding Your Dream Job" section which starts off with five basic tips:
1. Discover what interests you.
2. Research opportunities.
3. Polish that resume.
4. Network.
5. Be confident and positive.
The thing that struck me was how simple these things are (I mean, hell, I preach all of them on a regular basis). It's like the cliff-cliff-cliff-cliff Notes to my book. So if you can't read a book more than ten pages, or are just too lazy, here's my plan for you. Take the steps above and make three goals for yourself for each one. Seem easy? Lemme see your goals.
